Faraday Electric's 33kV Transformer Passes KEMA Testing
2026-05-12
Authoritative Certification: International Recognition of Hardcore Strength
This test was conducted by KEMA Labs (Czech Laboratory), an internationally authoritative third-party testing and certification body. The testing covered all-dimensional key indicators of transformer performance:
- Temperature rise test: Complies with IEC 60076-2:2011 standard, verifying the transformer's temperature control capability under rated load and ensuring long-term operational stability.
- Full-wave lightning impulse test (LI): Conducted in accordance with IEC 60076-3:2013+A1:2018 standard, simulating lightning strike conditions to assess the equipment's insulation withstand capability.
- Short-circuit dynamic stability test: Performed according to IEC 60076-5:2006 standard, verifying the transformer's mechanical strength and impact resistance when subjected to sudden short-circuits.
- Sound level measurement test: Follows IEC 60076-10:2016 standard, testing the equipment's operational noise level to meet low-noise environmental protection requirements.
The test results clearly show that this transformer, model 1600kVA-33/0.4kV, fully withstood the corresponding dynamic and thermal stability tests under short-circuit currents exceeding 38 kA. It meets all the stringent requirements of relevant standards, and its performance has reached an internationally advanced level.
